Control Component Properties Fields Display

Etch Enhancer gives you much greater control over how your properties are displayed.

You can choose from a variety of different input types for different properties.

Text Property Display Types​

When adding text properties, you can either benefit from automatic display type based on the name of the property, or you can override the display type so you have full control.

Object Property​

By default object properties are enhanced with a searchable/filterable picker.

You can specify which type of data you want to the user to be able to choose.

You have the option of two “pickers”, basic and advanced.

The basic is a simple searchable dropdown list that auto-populates from any post type, taxonomy type, or media you choose (you can auto-filter posts by taxonomy terms and auto filter media by type).

The advanced is a full searchable filterable dialog that shows you all of the available items on the left and the selected items on the right.

You can also specify the minimum and maximum number of items so it works for single and multi-select.

Also, the results are shown in a list with their titles/names and the list is re-orderable by drag/drop.
