Known Issues

This is a summary of the current known issues for quick reference.

Where applicable these will be added to the docs page for the enhancement they relate to.

Context Data Is Lost After Inline Editing​

Inline editing of etch html blocks can lead to loss of etch context data for those blocks.

Copy/Pasting components between sites does not preserve Etch Enhancer config​

Copy/pasting in the current site works correctly.

We are workign on a solution for this.

Loss of focus when typing first character​

During testing, in rare cases focus was lost from certain areas of the Etch editor (e.g. HTML panel or element settings panel).

If you find that you cannot type in a panel, simply switch tabs or desktops and switch back until this is resolved.

This will be completely resolved in an upcoming release.

Editing passthrough blocks may not work with Etch's undo/redo​

This will be fixed when the new Etch APIs are integrated.

Core blocks copied directly after editing may contain old content​

If editing core blocks (passthrough blocks) copying them after editing and pasting them on another page may show the old value.

If you need to copy these to another page, save the page and refresh first before copying.
